Plants use sugar to store, transplant and use energy produced in the process of photosynthesis. Sugars, created and stored in the leaves of the plant, takes water and CO2 molecules plus energy collected from the sun to create glucose molecules and oxygen. The plant then converts the glucose molecules back to energy in the process of respiration & uses them to create whatever else the plant needs; cellulose, starch, amino acids and lipids.

The definition of defoliation is simple: the act of stripping a tree or bush of leaves. Cannabis growers use defoliation bud producing branches more room to grow or to remove leaves obstructing buds from absorbing light, however, defoliation serves another purpose; to aid the transportation and storage of sugars.

If a healthy plant creates all of the sugars it needs, why add molasses to the soil?

Sugars feed the good bacteria in the soil. Jinxproof recommends adding sugars to your plants on day 20 and day 40 of the plant’s flowering cycle with Sucanat (1 Cup per 30 Gallons Water) or organic freeze dried cane sugar.

Add sugar to the soil when the plant is stressed and a significant amount of leaves have fallen off so the plant gets glucose molecules from their roots until new leaves grow and are able to absorb nutrients from light again.

Combining philanthropy and acts of charity as a part of their mission, Jinxproof Genetics designed their compassion programs with a formal structure to better serve those in need.  Jinxproof and his wife Miss Rose established Northwest Families for Autism (NWFFA) and immediately began working with the Seattle Children’s Autism Center (SCAC) and the University of Washington (UW) to provide communication devices to hundreds of Children with Autism and non-verbal disorders giving them the platform needed to interact with the World around them. Miss Rose explains the positive impact of these devices,  “This is empowering to these individuals as it enables them to easily communicate with the world around them by giving them a means to express their thoughts, feelings, needs and desires.
